On June 17, 2015, the largest racially motivated mass murder in recent American history occurred. Nine members of Mother Emanuel AME Church were shot to death during Bible Study with an illegally purchased gun in an effort to spark a race riot.
As the 3rd Anniversary of the Mother Emanuel 9 tragedy approaches join our “Call to Action “ to End Gun Violence and Acquire Racial Reconciliation in celebration of the lives and legacies of the Victims The Rev. Clementa Pinckney, 41:Cynthia Hurd, 54: The Rev. Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, 45: Tywanza Sanders, 26: Ethel Lance, 70: Susie Jackson, 87: Depayne Middleton Doctor, 49: The Rev. Daniel Simmons, 74: Myra Thompson, 59 and Survivors.
Rallying for Unity serves as a universal symbol of love to embrace diversity, inspire dialogue and change behaviors that will result in racial reconciliation and “common sense” gun laws. The divisive state of affairs globally requires a Call to Action, reminding us all that “Love is Our Mission”
